Notice on Fingerprints Collection of Visa Application

In accordance with Chinese laws and regulations and international common practice, The Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Khon Kaen will collect 10 fingerprints of all visa applicants starting from 11, January, 2021. All Visa applicants are required to submit the application documents and have their fingerprints collected in person at the Chinese Consulate at the time of their appointment after filling in the online electronic application forms and booking the appointment at https://cova.cs.mfa.gov.cn.

Please be noted that fingerprints collection is not required for:

I. Children under 14 years old and adults over 70 years old;

II. Diplomatic Passport Holders and diplomatic,official and courtesy visa applicants.

III.Applicants holding the same passports whose fingerprints have been collected at the Chinese Embassy, Consulates or the Chinese Visa Application Service Centers within five years.

Please note that all applicants should have their fingerprints collected in person at the Chinese Embassy, Consulates or the Chinese Visa Application Service Centers. Visitors to China whose fingerprints do not match may be denied entry and should bear all the consequences.

In addition, According to the important notice released by the Consulate General on 16 April, 2020, Chinese Visa Office was temporally closed to the public due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
